Crypto Futures Research Dataset
1,001 venue–asset research rows across 31 platforms and 41 assets. Choose the current catalog for exploration or a fixed edition for a reproducible citation.
No API key required. The export is a dated research catalog, not a live prices feed or a list of universally available contracts.
What these rows include—and what they cannot tell you
A row joins a venue to a researched asset. Some rows contain an exact symbol returned in the targeted contract collection; others retain documentary references for an asset without a confirmed symbol. The recordScope field makes that distinction explicit. Counting rows as currently tradeable contracts would overstate the evidence.
The 41 assets include OP, while the editorial market cluster contains 40 guides. That is a difference in coverage, not an extra article or a missing country. The catalog also differs from the immutable Research studies: their observation windows, contract sets and execution samples are defined by their own editions. This download does not silently replace those studies.
Leverage ceilings, normalized tier counts, fee references, funding intervals, source states and individual check dates are included. Full order books, every margin-band value, personal VIP rates, account permissions and complete funding histories are not. For execution evidence or a size-dependent conclusion, follow the relevant study or tool rather than ranking these rows by their largest leverage number.
The historical field names liveProvider and adapterState describe the collection method recorded in the dataset. They do not enable live quotes: the site no longer requests market prices or funding rates while you use its tools. Coinbase’s retired INTX identifier does not describe its successor. The coverage matrix explains field availability separately.

Bybit · BTC · BTCUSDT
- Contract identity
- BTCUSDT; collateral label USDT. The symbol was recorded in the contract catalog, without an account-level trading test.
- Leverage and tiers
- 150× recorded ceiling; 35 normalized bands. Leverage evidence date: 4 Oct 2026, 02:42 UTC.
- Fee reference
- Maker 0.02%; taker 0.055%. Separate fee evidence date: 11 Sept 2026, 00:00 UTC. Account and order-channel scope are not normalized in this export.
- Funding interval
- 8 hours, checked 4 Oct 2026, 02:42 UTC; no current rate or future payment forecast is stored here.
- Adapter
- bybit · historical collection identifier. This download contains recorded values, not a price feed.
The different dates are intentional. A refreshed leverage endpoint does not recheck the fee document. A newer catalog edition does not make the stored spread current. Where a cap was converted to dollars using an observed price, that valuation belongs to the observation rather than being a permanent dollar limit.
For a non-confirmed row, a venue-level reference may provide context without matching the asset in every field. For example, a source URL referring to BTC does not prove TON order-book depth. Treat the source’s scope and the actual value together; a retrieved label alone is not enough to promote a missing observation into an asset-specific fact.
Null, zero and a retrieved document are different things
The JSON preserves missing numeric values as null. CSV represents the same absence as an empty cell. A numeric zero remains 0 in both formats, and booleans remain true or false. Avoid spreadsheet import settings that replace blanks with zero or interpret dates as local-time measurements.
One stored example is Aster–BTC, where makerFeePct is 0. This says the catalog contains a zero reference; it is not an entitlement to a current manual, API or regional promotion. By contrast, GMX–BTC has makerFeePct and takerFeePct set to null because those maker/taker fields do not contain its complete pool-based fee model. Null does not mean commission-free.
A tierCount of 0 means no normalized bands retained, not a maintenance requirement of zero. A null position limit is unknown, not unlimited. sourceCount belongs to the venue and repeats on its asset rows; summing it would multiply the same references. Source states describe retrieval history, not legality, account approval or proof of a completed trade.
Field dictionary: types, units and interpretation
Schema 2.0 retains the existing columns and adds recordScope, feeScope and adapterState. Fee percentages use percentage points, leverage uses multiples and spreads use basis points. Thus 0.05 in a fee column means 0.05%, while 5 bps describes the same fraction. The distinction matters before any cost calculation.
exchange · text
Short display name; not a legal entity identifier.
slug · text
Stable site venue key. Pair with market to identify a research row.
type · enum
cex or dex describes the researched platform architecture.
custody · enum
centralized, self-custody or unverified; not a solvency opinion.
market · asset ticker
Research asset, not necessarily a live listed contract. OP extends the 40 editorial market guides.
recordScope · enum
exact-symbol-record or asset-research-reference. Venue-level fallback documentation can support context without confirming this asset or every field.
feeScope · enum
reference-account-channel-not-normalized: fee values are stored references, not normalized personal, regional, VIP, manual or API quotes.
venueSymbol · text or null
Exact symbol when recorded. Null means no exact symbol retained, not proof of delisting.
collateral · text or null
Recorded contract collateral/settlement label; not all assets eligible in every account mode.
priorityContractConfirmed · boolean
Exact symbol was retrieved for the targeted priority cohort at its collection time. False can mean outside that cohort.
maximumLeverage · multiple or null
Recorded contract ceiling. 100 means 100×; selected size and account may allow less.
leverageState · source state
Source retrieval state for leverage; not resident eligibility.
leverageCheckedAt · ISO date/time
Stored leverage evidence check, not catalog build time.
leverageSourceUrl · URL or null
Supporting leverage endpoint or document retained by the model.
tierCount · integer
Number of normalized margin bands retained. Zero means no bands in this export, not zero maintenance margin.
marginState · source state
State of the margin schedule evidence.
marginCheckedAt · ISO date/time
Stored check for the margin evidence.
marginSourceUrl · URL or null
Source for the retained schedule; the simplified export does not contain every band.
positionLimitUsd · USD or null
Normalized position cap if recorded. Null is not unlimited.
orderLimitUsd · USD or null
Normalized single-order cap if recorded; not necessarily the position cap.
makerFeePct · percentage points or null
0.02 means 0.02%, applied per execution. Product/account/channel scope remains in the source and dossier.
takerFeePct · percentage points or null
0.05 means 0.05%. Zero is a recorded zero rate; null is unknown. Not a personal VIP quote.
feeState · source state
State supporting the normalized fee reference; retrieval alone does not establish eligibility for a promotion.
feeCheckedAt · ISO date/time
Fee evidence check, independent of leverage and funding dates.
feeSourceUrl · URL or null
Fee document or endpoint; consult its product and account scope.
fundingIntervalHours · hours or null
Native recorded interval; no live funding-rate series is included.
fundingState · source state
State of funding evidence, not a guarantee of the next payment.
fundingCheckedAt · ISO date/time
Stored funding evidence check.
fundingSourceUrl · URL or null
Official document or endpoint for the recorded funding field.
observedSpreadBps · basis points or null
Stored spread observation. One basis point is 0.01 percentage point; not current liquidity.
liquidityState · source state
Source state for liquidity/capacity references; not order-fill quality.
liquidityCheckedAt · ISO date/time
Stored liquidity evidence check; an observation can age while the page is unchanged.
liquiditySourceUrl · URL or null
Source attached to the liquidity field.
liveProvider · identifier or null
Historical field name: implemented adapter identifier only. It does not mean a feed is healthy now.
adapterState · enum
implemented-not-checked, legacy-incompatible or none. No request-health promise; Coinbase legacy INTX is incompatible with its successor.
accessState · source state
Retrieval state of access documentation, not a yes/no answer for a country.
accessCheckedAt · ISO date/time
Stored check of access evidence; nationality/residence conclusions are not encoded here.
sourceCount · integer
Number of sources on the venue record, repeated for each venue–asset row. Do not sum it as a count of unique sources.
Current download or fixed edition: choose the right citation
The current endpoint can change when normalized records or supporting fields change. Use it to inspect the latest catalog, and save the response if you rely on a value. For a published comparison, the edition below fixes both the CSV and JSON bytes so another reader can retrieve the same records in the same order.
Fixed edition: 2026-10-09-catalog-v2
Created 2026-10-09 04:01:28 UTC. 1,000 rows, 31 venues and 41 assets. This is the catalog frozen on that date, not a fabricated historical market observation.
Open the edition manifest for creation time, file sizes and SHA-256 checksums.
Field dates inside the fixed files remain their original dates. If a later correction is needed, it should receive a new edition and a correction note; the previous bytes are not overwritten. The manifest’s creation time identifies the freeze, while the source dates identify the supporting observations.
The compiled dataset is distributed under CC BY 4.0. Attribute the compilation, link the license and identify modifications. Linked exchange documents, screenshots and trademarks keep their owners’ terms; the dataset license does not relicense them or imply their endorsement.
Sources and research
Page and export schema reviewed 9 October 2026. The fixed edition was created during this revision, with CSV/JSON row and value parity checked. Each field retains its own source URL and evidence date. No market history was reconstructed from today’s values.
The catalog is built from the site’s normalized research records and priority contract collection. Its scope is narrower than all source documents and different from Research editions. Source policy defines retrieval states; methodology distinguishes documentation from execution.
A source record or fee reference can be older or less specific than a newly reconstructed dossier. Consult its scope before reuse. This file does not promise real-time prices, current promotion eligibility or the full permission model of any account.
