Best Crypto Exchange For Leverage in Uzbekistan

Short Answer

Asterium is the local margin candidate: access requires a separate agreement and assessment. Its published rules do not confirm a live perpetual-futures product.

For Binance, Uzbek residents must enter through CoinPay. That local partnership does not unlock every global Binance product.

Choose an account

Which crypto exchange should you use in Uzbekistan?

For a resident who wants the Binance trading environment, begin through CoinPay’s official Binance entry. For someone specifically seeking borrowed buying power, Asterium deserves a separate look because its published rules describe admission to margin trading. These are different recommendations: one identifies the authorised local entry to a familiar exchange, while the other identifies a documented borrowing framework.

Neither finding justifies advertising a ready-to-use 100x perpetual account. The CoinPay partnership announcement does not establish which global Binance derivatives are available to an Uzbek resident. Asterium’s margin rules do not establish a live perpetual contract list or a universal leverage multiple. A useful choice starts with the product you can actually open, rather than the largest number on an international comparison site.

The practical shortlist

If you want to buy and sell crypto using a local payment connection, investigate CoinPay–Binance first. If your essential requirement is leverage, ask Asterium for the current margin agreement and an account-specific offer before sending a trading budget. If you hold cash and want stablecoins, its Tashkent offices provide a separately priced service. Buying USDT there is not opening a leveraged position.

Three needs, three different services
What you wantWhere to startWhat you are getting
Binance access as an Uzbek residentCoinPay’s official Binance entryThe local onboarding route, with products subject to that account
Borrowing for a larger crypto tradeAsterium’s margin admission processA conditional borrowing service, not a confirmed perpetual-futures menu
Cash converted to stablecoinsAsterium’s named Tashkent officesAn in-person conversion with a quoted rate and fee

We do not rank every company in the provider register as a futures exchange. A crypto store, a custodian and a trading venue can all appear in the local industry without offering the same service. The wider availability catalogue below remains useful for checking individual providers, but it is not a list of interchangeable leverage accounts.

02
CoinPay and Binance

Does Binance work in Uzbekistan through CoinPay?

Yes, there is an official local partnership. CoinPay announced its launch in January 2025 and directs Uzbek residents to its own Binance entry page. The announcement also describes national-currency transactions using local payment connections. This is more specific than saying that the international Binance website happens to load.

The distinction matters when creating an account. Start at the official CoinPay page and follow its current process. A global referral link, a Telegram invitation or a saved bookmark from an older account is not a substitute for the local entry required by the announcement. The link provided here therefore goes to CoinPay rather than presenting an international signup as the same service.

What about an existing Binance account?

An existing login does not answer whether the account has been brought under the current local arrangement. Use the provider’s migration or linking instructions for that account. Do not create several identities to experiment with different country settings; that can leave funds and transaction records spread across accounts with incompatible verification details.

For a futures trader, the next question is what the linked account actually offers. Look for the specific contract, its account permission and the applicable terms. A general Binance app can display educational material and product advertisements that are not an offer to every user. We have not treated those public screens as evidence that an Uzbek account receives the entire global futures catalogue.

The partnership is still meaningful even when your first transaction is a spot purchase. It provides a named local provider and a documented entry route. But if your only reason for opening an account is leveraged BTC exposure, resolve that product question before buying collateral. Otherwise you can finish the purchase successfully and still be unable to place the trade you wanted.

03
P2P restrictions

Can you use Binance P2P with an Uzbek bank card?

The NAPP’s January 2025 notice expressly warns that residents’ direct use of Binance P2P violates local requirements. It points instead to the CoinPay arrangement and its supported national-currency connections. This is a specific restriction worth knowing before following a generic tutorial about buying USDT from another person.

A seller accepting an Uzbek card does not resolve that problem. Nor does a high completion rate, an escrow badge or a claim that everyone in a local trading group uses the same method. Those details describe a marketplace transaction; they do not replace the permitted service relationship.

Local payment support does not mean every transfer is accepted

There is a difference between paying through the method integrated into your verified account and sending money directly to a seller’s personal bank card. Both might involve soum, but they are not the same transaction. Use the account’s own deposit instructions and compare the actual amount received before authorising payment.

For someone paid in UZS, the relevant comparison is how much usable crypto reaches the account through the supported route. A slightly better informal exchange rate is not enough to make an unsupported transaction the better choice. It can also leave you with a payment record that the exchange cannot match to the deposit you say you made.

This does not mean that residents are prohibited from owning all crypto. It means the provider and transaction route matter. NAPP has previously corrected the outdated claim that residents can only sell crypto and cannot buy it. Confusing that old statement with the current local-provider system makes the market look either completely closed or completely unrestricted; neither description helps someone choose an account.

04
Asterium leverage

What Asterium actually says about crypto margin trading

Asterium’s March 2026 admission rules expressly describe borrowing money or crypto for trading. Admission requires an account active for at least 30 days, a risk-knowledge test, sufficient backing and an additional agreement. The exchange sets the permitted borrowing amounts, assets, interest and forced-close conditions. These are concrete admission requirements, not evidence that every verified user can immediately select a leverage slider.

That makes Asterium the local provider to investigate for this particular need. It also explains why the ordinary signup screen is not enough to answer whether the service suits your trade. The meaningful document is the offer that specifies what your account can borrow, at what cost and against which assets.

Ask for a trade you can evaluate

A useful request is: “I want to buy a specified amount of BTC using a specified amount of my own USDT. What borrowing is available to my account, what will it cost for two days, and what balance would trigger a forced close?” This is more effective than asking only whether the exchange has leverage.

Compare the response with your intended holding period. A loan priced by the day can be reasonable for a short trade yet become expensive when a position remains open for weeks. If the provider quotes an annual percentage, convert it to the expected period and confirm its calculation method. Do not compare the raw annual number with a different venue’s eight-hour funding percentage.

A borrowing example, not an Asterium tariff

Suppose a hypothetical approved account uses 500 USDT of its own money and borrows another 500 USDT to buy 1,000 USDT of BTC. A 5% price fall reduces the purchase value by 50 USDT. Before charges, that loss equals 10% of the trader’s original 500 USDT. The debt does not disappear because the purchased coin fell in price.

This example explains 2x exposure; it does not claim that Asterium currently offers that multiple, loan size or interest rate. A real account can face a forced close before its own money is exhausted. Read the actual agreement’s threshold and repayment rules before deciding that the loan improves your position.

05
Which product?

Borrowed crypto, perpetuals and leveraged tokens are not equivalent

Someone searching for “crypto futures Uzbekistan” may be trying to do one of several things: increase a long BTC position, profit from a price fall, or hedge coins already owned. Those goals do not always require the same product. The important question is what transaction produces the exposure, and what obligations remain while it is open.

A borrowed-money spot purchase increases buying power. A short sale needs the relevant asset to be borrowed and sold, with a later obligation to return it. A perpetual is a separate price-tracking contract. A platform describing margin borrowing has not, merely by using that term, confirmed every one of those possibilities.

Three different physical objects represent a crypto holding, a borrowed balance and a price contract, arranged separately on an ivory background.
Owning a coin, borrowing to trade and holding a futures contract create different obligations. A provider’s product must match your intended trade.

If your goal is a short position

Ask whether the actual product supports the asset and direction you need. Permission to borrow stablecoins for a BTC purchase does not establish permission to borrow BTC and sell it. Similarly, owning USDT does not create a short BTC position: it reduces exposure to Bitcoin, but does not pay out when Bitcoin falls.

For a resident holding Bitcoin and wanting less exposure, selling part through an eligible local service can be a simpler alternative to a leveraged hedge. It changes the asset holding instead of adding a separate position that must be maintained. The trade-off is that the sold part will not benefit from a subsequent recovery.

Why a token with “3x” in its name is not a replacement

A leveraged token, where offered, is an investment product with its own rebalancing rules. It is not necessarily a personal margin loan or a perpetual position. Daily compounding and charges can make a multi-day result differ from simply multiplying Bitcoin’s overall move by three. We do not recommend one as a workaround for an unavailable derivatives account.

The resulting decision is direct: use ordinary spot for ownership, investigate the specific loan when borrowing is essential, and require actual contract access for futures. Do not choose an account for a product it has not agreed to provide. Uzbekistan’s local documentation makes this distinction especially important because it establishes service types more clearly than a universal retail-futures menu.

06
Costs that matter

How much does an Uzbek crypto account really cost?

Asterium advertises a 0.6% charge for its standard in-person cash-conversion service, with a 300 USDT minimum. Its direct-trading rules separately allow commission of up to 3%. Those figures concern different services. Treating one as the other, or applying either automatically to every app transaction, would produce a misleading comparison.

The quoted exchange rate matters alongside the percentage. Ask for the final amount of USDT or UZS after all charges, then compare that output with another eligible route at approximately the same time. A low commission can coexist with a less favourable conversion quote. The useful number is what you receive for the same starting amount.

A completed comparison using example quotes

Imagine two hypothetical offers for the same UZS budget. One produces 1,000 USDT before a 0.6% charge deducted from that output, leaving 994 USDT. The other advertises no separate commission but delivers 990 USDT. The first leaves you four USDT better off, despite displaying a visible fee.

Reverse the quotes and the result can reverse. There is no permanent winner without the current output amounts. The example demonstrates how to compare rather than pretending that the displayed UZS price is a live rate or that either provider guarantees the illustrated output.

An example receipt compares one thousand USDT minus a six-USDT charge, leaving 994, with a no-separate-fee quote delivering 990.
Compare the amount received. A zero-fee label does not automatically make a conversion cheaper.

Add borrowing only after the purchase cost

If an eligible margin offer is involved, add its interest and exit costs to the conversion comparison. A 10-USDT entry saving is not much help if the chosen loan costs 20 USDT more over the planned holding period. Conversely, someone making only a spot purchase should not pay for a complicated borrowing setup they will never use.

Use actual quotes for larger amounts. “Up to 3%” is a ceiling in the reviewed direct-trading rule, not a promise that every customer will be charged exactly 3%. A negotiated rate, a different service or an account-specific agreement can change the result. Keep the accepted quote so the completed transaction can be checked against it.

07
Larger transactions

A larger order: quote service or direct trading?

Asterium’s direct-trading procedure describes a buyer accepting an order, making the specified payment and providing the transfer record. The seller checks actual receipt before authorising release of the crypto. This is a settlement process between participants; it should not be confused with clicking a perpetual order that fills immediately against an exchange order book.

The difference matters when comparing a larger purchase. An attractive price is only one part of the agreement. Establish the amount, payment destination, release conditions and commission together. A quote that cannot be completed with your accepted payment method is not better than a slightly different quote that can.

Payment proof and completed payment are different

If you are selling, an uploaded receipt is evidence to investigate, not the same thing as money credited to your own bank account. Follow the exchange’s settlement process and check actual receipt before authorising the asset release. If you are buying, keep the agreed order reference with the bank transfer so the seller and exchange can match the payment.

Three separate milestones show an accepted order, payment received by the seller, and authorised release of crypto through the exchange.
A payment receipt and a completed settlement are different milestones. The seller verifies receipt before release under the reviewed procedure.

Our practical preference is the simpler eligible service for a routine small purchase, and an explicit direct-trading quote when the amount or transaction requires it. Do not select a more involved settlement process merely because its name sounds professional. For a leveraged strategy, the purchased asset also needs to become available before it can support the intended position; an agreed purchase that has not settled is not usable backing.

08
Cash and regional access

Tashkent offices or an online account?

Asterium lists two Tashkent offices for its cash service, at 12A Saida Baraka Street and 3 Zargar Street. The advertised standard transaction exchanges accepted cash into supported stablecoins, with the rate shown before confirmation. The stated five-to-ten-minute crediting time is a service estimate, not a promise for every transaction or a derivatives withdrawal guarantee.

That option can make sense if you already hold cash and want assistance with the conversion. It is not automatically the best starting point for someone in Samarkand, Bukhara, Fergana, Andijan or Nukus who already has an accepted bank or card method. Travelling to Tashkent adds a cost that a headline exchange fee omits.

Different location, same product question

We found no basis in the reviewed national rules for inventing different futures permissions for each of those cities. The local difference is practical: whether an in-person service is nearby, which supported payment method you can use, and whether the account offers what you need. A city name alone does not change the trading agreement.

Before travelling, establish that the office handles your intended transaction and amount. The advertised service minimum makes a visit unsuitable for someone wanting a very small test conversion. Larger or unusual transactions can require additional documents; a standard headline crediting estimate should not determine a time-sensitive leveraged trade elsewhere.

The app and the office also have separate pricing contexts. Do not carry the office’s 0.6% quote into an app cost comparison without seeing the app’s own terms. For a person whose funds are already digital, the account’s current cashless offer is the relevant starting point, not a physical-office promotion.

09
Bots and arbitrage

Trading bots and arbitrage: check the local account rules

Asterium’s admission rules require written permission for bots or scripts interacting with the trading platform. They also set restrictions on repeated arbitrage cycles. A platform having an electronic trading interface therefore does not mean that every automated strategy used on an international exchange can simply be copied into this account.

For a manual trader making an occasional purchase, that may not change the choice. For someone running a grid bot or rapidly moving between assets to capture small price differences, it can be decisive. Get the proposed activity approved before building the strategy around the venue.

Check what the strategy actually does

A bot description such as “passive income” tells you very little about its orders. Does it buy and sell the same pair repeatedly, move through several pairs, borrow an asset, or require transfers between exchanges? Those behaviours can fall under different account rules even when an app packages them under one friendly label.

A small profit estimate is also meaningless if the strategy cannot be run within the permitted service. The comparison is not just trading fees multiplied by predicted volume. It includes whether orders can be placed as intended, whether the necessary assets can be withdrawn, and whether an outside service is permitted to access the account.

We would therefore not select Asterium for an automated arbitrage setup solely because it has local licensing. Its published conditions need to fit the actual strategy. For ordinary spot use, evaluate the purchase and withdrawal instead of paying for a bot subscription to obtain a basic crypto holding.

10
Getting money out

Can you withdraw back to soum?

Asterium’s September 2026 public offer requires account-owner payment details and describes withdrawals in the currency recorded in the account, without automatic conversion. This matters if your trading result is held in crypto but your spending needs are in UZS. A crypto balance is not already a bank withdrawal in soum.

Identify the sale or conversion step, its quote and the bank withdrawal that follows. Compare the net UZS result, not just the exchange’s displayed dollar valuation. Two routes can sell the same number of tokens but deliver different amounts after the conversion spread, service charge and transfer costs.

Keep trading funds and a required withdrawal separate

If money is needed for a known payment, leaving all of it behind a borrowed position creates a conflict. Funds supporting that position may not be available for withdrawal. Reducing or closing the trade can release backing, but the final balance also reflects the trade result and any debt or charges.

For a first account, a modest completed buy-and-sell cycle can establish how the supported cash-out path works without adding leverage. Record what was spent, what was credited and what reached the bank. That is a useful operational test; it is not proof that every larger withdrawal will receive identical processing.

If a transfer is delayed, identify the missing step before opening another transaction. A pending sale, an incomplete withdrawal request and a bank transfer awaiting credit are different issues. Supply the relevant transaction reference and amount rather than sending additional funds to an unofficial helper who promises to release the balance.

11
Residence matters

Uzbek citizens abroad and foreigners living in Uzbekistan

A citizen living abroad should follow the exchange rules for their actual residence and accepted identity documents. Nationality alone does not make every account an Uzbekistan-resident account, and a temporary trip abroad does not necessarily change residence. This can affect both the available product and the provider entity responsible for it.

For example, an Uzbek citizen established in another country may encounter that country’s retail leverage ceiling or local-provider requirements. That is a different analysis from using a different country setting while continuing to live in Uzbekistan. The relevant comparison is the account available under the real circumstances, not the location that produces the largest advertised maximum.

Foreign customers have a separate new development

NAPP now lists CoinPay and Asterium as specially authorised exchanges for the 2026 special tax regime for eligible foreign citizens. The register describes a Commission decision and designated wallets as part of that arrangement. This is a specific programme, not a blanket tax exemption for every visitor or every foreign exchange account.

If that programme is relevant to you, determine whether you have the required approval and which transactions and wallets it covers. A normal tourist arrival, an ordinary signup or holding a foreign passport does not establish those conditions. Nor does the designation itself prove that a retail perpetual product has been launched.

For everyone else, compare the regular account terms and obtain advice about the tax treatment that actually applies. We do not label every crypto gain tax-free on the basis of a programme whose eligibility has not been established. That is especially important for someone moving between countries during the year.

12
Verify the provider

How to verify a local exchange without getting lost in paperwork

Use NAPP’s live register to identify the provider and the type of permission. CoinPay appears with crypto-exchange licence CE #0004. Asterium’s current joint-stock-company record uses CE #0006, reissued in April 2026 after reorganisation. Older LLC documents can remain online, so a different company form in an old PDF is a reason to check the current entry rather than automatically assuming fraud.

A store permission and an exchange permission do not describe the same service. Match the provider’s legal name with the agreement for the transaction you intend to make. The register is a useful identity and scope check; it is not a guarantee that a trade will be profitable or a promise that the provider offers futures.

Make the final choice around the transaction

For an ordinary crypto purchase, compare the supported local payment, the amount received and the cash-out path. For borrowing, require an approved account and a concrete loan offer. For futures, require an enabled contract rather than interpreting a familiar brand or a generic margin policy as the missing product.

Keep the accepted agreement, transaction quote and completion record together. If the product later changes, compare the new terms with those records before adding borrowing or moving a larger balance. A change to a provider’s corporate form, its fee schedule and its trading products are three separate events; one does not automatically imply the others.

Local FAQ

Other reader questions

01Does moving to another Uzbek city unlock different futures products?

The national sources reviewed here do not establish city-specific retail-futures permissions. Proximity to an office and supported payments can change convenience, without changing the product agreement.

02Can a friend’s card fund my Asterium account?

The reviewed public offer requires payment details belonging to the account owner. Use the accepted method in your own name rather than assuming that a successful card payment would satisfy that requirement.

03Is the old Asterium LLC document the current account agreement?

Check the current JSC agreement and NAPP entry. The register records a 2026 reorganisation and reissued licence; an older PDF should not replace the terms of the service being opened now.

04Can an Uzbek resident use Binance P2P instead of CoinPay's local entry?

NAPP's reviewed notice expressly warns against residents' direct Binance P2P use and points to the CoinPay arrangement. A seller accepting an Uzbek card or displaying an escrow badge does not replace that local service requirement. Use the official entry and assess the products actually offered to the resulting account.

05What does Asterium require before admitting a customer to crypto margin trading?

Its reviewed March 2026 rules require an account active for at least 30 days, a risk-knowledge test, sufficient collateral and an additional agreement. The exchange determines the available borrowing, assets, interest and closure terms. Those conditions establish a borrowing process, not automatic access to a 100x perpetual immediately after signup.

06Can I run a futures-style trading bot on Asterium without permission?

Written permission is required. The restrictions also cover repeated arbitrage cycles, so copying an existing international-exchange bot is not an approved default.
